New Curriculum

Me, My Community, My Environment

The Four Green Steps "Me, My Community, My Environment" Program invites students to reflect upon and respond to their environment on individual, local and global scales. With three programs developed for each age group, students are given the opportunity to explore issues of sustainability as they intersect with tradition and culture. This cross-curricular program fulfills provincial and state objectives while prioritizing a culturally responsive curriculum that aims to represent and reflect North American students. In an effort to shift from the current Eurocentric knowledge system, this program reflects an inclusive perspective of North American knowledge.
